Kim Jong-hwan, Chairman of the International Robot Olympiad Committee (IROC),
has appointed Chun Beeho, a visiting professor at the College of Engineering at Sungkyunkwan University and
Vice President of the Korean Council on Foreign Relations, as the President of the Organizing Committee for the 26th IRO 2024/25.

Chun stated, “Through hosting the International Robot Olympiad in Busan, we aim to contribute to the development of Busan as a global mobility hub.

Additionally, we seek to cultivate the AI digital capabilities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics among domestic and
international elementary, middle, and high school students, thereby fostering national-level advancement in AI digital capabilities.”

Thanks to the President of the Organizing Committee, it is expected to be even more enriching at the 26th IRO 2024/25.
